Though Nadine Aysoy is following in the footsteps of her grandfather P.N. Ferstenberg, who was awarded the title ‘The Dean of the Diamond Industry’ by the Belgian government, the jeweller’s approach to design is anything but traditional. Playful use of colour abounds throughout her eponymous label’s designs.

Since launching her first collection in 2017 she has derived influences from the old movies of Hollywood’s heyday when women were stylishly bejeweled. Nadine Aysoy defines her jewellery as colorful, identifiable and effortlessly elegant. Inspiration also came from her mother, who she describes as uber chic and who wore breathtakingly designed jewels in the early ‘70s, in which, as young girls, Aysoy and her two sisters used to play dress-up.
